Airport Details
The Brantford Municipal Airport is located about 115 kilometers west of downtown Toronto and 160 kilometers (100 miles) northwest of Buffalo, NY. Conveniently, the airport is just minutes away from highway 403, making this locale easily accessible for visitors and business patrons alike.
Directions to the Brantford Municipal Airport
From Hamilton/Toronto/Niagara (via Hwy 403)
- Take Highway 403 Westbound to Hamilton/Brantford
- Continue on Highway 403 Wesbound to Brantford
- Continue past the King George Rd. (Highway 24) and Paris Rd. exits towards London.
- Exit Highway 403 at the Rest Acres Rd. (exit 27) south bound ramp.
- Continue south on Rest Acres Rd. past Robinson Rd.
- Make a left (east) on Highway 53 (Burford Road)
- Continue along the highway 53 (Burford Road) for approximately two kilometers.
- Take the first left (past all the school busses) onto Airport Rd. and follow the signs through the airport.
From Cambridge/Kitchener/Waterloo (via Hwy 24)
- Take Highway 24 south towards Brantford
- Continue on Highway 24 South
- In Brantford turn left at Fairview Dr.
- Turn right to merge onto Highway 403 westbound/Hwy 24 South
- Exit Highway 403 at the Rest Acres Rd. (exit 27) south bound ramp.
- Continue south on Rest Acres Rd. past Robinson Rd.
- Make a left (east) on Highway 53 (Burford Road)
- Continue along the highway 53 (Burford Road) for approximately two kilometers.
- Take the first left (past all the school busses) onto Airport Rd. and follow the signs through the airport.
From London (via Hwy 401 & 403)
- Take Highway 401 east towards Toronto
- Make a slight right onto Highway 403 eastbound towards Hamilton/Niagara Falls/Brantford
- Exit Highway 403 at the Rest Acres Rd. (exit 27) south bound ramp.
- Continue south on Rest Acres Rd. past Robinson Rd.
- Make a left (east) on Highway 53 (Burford Road)
- Continue along the highway 53 (Burford Road) for approximately two kilometers.
- Take the first left (past all the school busses) onto Airport Rd. and follow the signs through the airport.

Lighting
The Brantford Municipal Airport is equipped with variable three setting, runway edge and threshold lighting. A type-K ARCAL (Aircraft Radio Control of Aerodrome Lighting) allows for night operation of the runway lights.
Instrument Approaches
The Brantford Municipal Airport has 2 instrument approaches: A NDB/GPS overlay approach for runway 05 and a RNAV approach for runway 23.
Restaurant
The Brantford Municipal Airport features an on-site restaurant, The Skyway Café, which is open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Located in the Brantford Flight Centre, it is a great stop for pilots and visitors alike.
