Airport Commission
The Governance of the airport has been delegated by City Council to The Brantford Municipal Airport Commission. Commission members are elected for a three-year term and the Chairman is elected annually.

Airport commission meetings are held once monthly, or at the request of the chairman. Meetings are open to the public, unless the commission is dealing with an identified 'in camera' meeting.
